UN warns of catastrophe as RSF drone siege tightens on Sudan's el-Obeid

Some 500,000 people are trapped in el-Obeid as the RSF pounds the North Kordofan capital with drones. The UN issued a "red alert"; UNICEF says more than 300 children have been killed or injured in Sudan in 2026 alone.
