Sudan army says drone strikes hit RSF positions across North Kordofan as Kadugli siege drags on
The Sudanese Armed Forces said overnight drone strikes destroyed two Rapid Support Forces command posts and a fuel depot in North Kordofan state. The strikes come as the army tries to push the RSF back from supply lines feeding its siege of Kadugli, the South Kordofan capital.
UN says armed drones killed 880 civilians in Sudan in 4 months as fighting spreads beyond Kordofan
The UN human rights office said armed drones accounted for more than eighty per cent of civilian deaths in Sudan's war in the first four months of 2026, killing at least 880 people. Drone use is now spreading from Kordofan and Darfur into Blue Nile, White Nile and Khartoum states.
