Congo's Ebola outbreak hits 515 cases as government revives travel curbs
The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has reached 515 confirmed cases and 91 deaths, Africa CDC says, spreading at an unprecedented pace. Caused by the Bundibugyo virus, for which there is no vaccine, it has also spread to Uganda.

The Bundibugyo-strain Ebola outbreak in eastern DR Congo has topped 1,100 confirmed cases and 279 deaths, making it the second-largest in history. With no licensed vaccine for this strain, it is spreading faster than any previous Ebola epidemic.
