Brazil's top court bars Flávio Bolsonaro from visiting his jailed father
Justice Alexandre de Moraes barred Senator Flávio Bolsonaro — a leading presidential candidate — from visiting his father, ex-President Jair Bolsonaro, for 90 days, after Flávio read one of his letters on a livestream.

Women are about 43 per cent of the candidacies registered for vice-governor in October’s election and about 16 per cent of those for governor. Neither office is covered by the candidacy quota that governs Brazil’s proportional races.
