Israel kills three in Lebanon as Rubio touts progress in Washington truce talks

An Israeli strike in southern Lebanon killed three people on Thursday even as Israeli and Lebanese officials met in Washington, where US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said negotiations were making progress. The war has killed more than 4,200 in Lebanon since March.
