Amazon is 97 per cent of the surge in the EU’s content-moderation database — twelve straight days at a level it had reached nine times all year

Filings to the European Commission’s Digital Services Act database rose by 9.78 million a day this month. Amazon Store supplied 9.44 million of the increase, after eight days in June when it filed fewer than 2,200 a day.

Eurostat headlined a euro-area contraction on 5 June. A scheduled database update took it away, along with 86 of the 264 numbers in the same table

The euro area’s first quarter has been printed five different ways: +0.1, +0.1, −0.2, 0.0 and 0.0. The contraction that made headlines in June was reversed at a routine revision, and no euro-indicator release was issued to say so.
