Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are negotiating a one-page document requiring Iran to halt enrichment for 12 years and surrender its 60% uranium stockpile. In exchange, US sanctions would ease and the naval blockade of Iranian ports would lift within 30 days.

Tehran's reply to a 14-point US ceasefire memo demanded the lifting of the naval blockade and recognition of Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, prompting an immediate rejection from Donald Trump. Oil surged more than 3 per cent and Kuwait and the UAE each intercepted hostile drones over the weekend.
